PALMYRA - Police say two teens are safe after a scary crash on the interstate Friday morning.

It happened around 5:45 Friday morning in the northbound lane of I95 in Palmyra.

Police say 17-year-old Blake Barker of Hampden fell asleep at the wheel, causing him to go off the road.

The car he and his 16-year-old passenger were in then went down an embankment and overturned.

Authorities say both were wearing their seat belts, and as a result only suffered minor injuries.

Both were treated at Northern Light EMMC, and then released.
